General Idea is a NYC creative studio, specializing in broadcast design, 3d animation, motion graphics and visual effects. Since its establishment in 2010, General Idea has been crafting effective and innovative visual content. From advertising to television show packaging, drawing attention to your charitable cause or catching the eyes of investors for a new venture, GI comes up with the right design concept, direction and execution to make it happen.

Partners & co-creatives, Cary Janks and Eric Miró have many years of industry experience across a broad range of disciplines encompassing print, web, broadcast design & animation, event space design, technical direction for live-action,  green screen lighting and visual effects techniques. Versatility and flexibility allow this nimble studio to scale up or down to accommodate most any size production.
